I’m sure that most of us are familiar with the concept of the ‘Slimming Club’, where you visit each week for a weigh-in and receive help and advice about what and how much to eat.

In fact, several of my clients have been members of such clubs.

As a Personal Trainer and masseur, I know how your different body systems work together as a unified whole and the effect that they have on each other. So I decided to set up ‘Slim 4 Health’ as a way of offering people a slimming club that corrected the shortcomings of a typical club.

It is designed as a mentoring service, to support and guide you in your eating habits, lifestyle and activity level.

Benefits include:

#1: You will have a session every 4 weeks, rather than every week. This will give a far more accurate indication of any true fat loss. For ladies, it will also factor out the physiological changes caused by their menstrual cycle.
#2: As well as body weight, I will also measure your Body Mass Index (BMI) and your Body Fat Percentage. These measurements give a far greater insight into your physiological make-up. This means that we can be far more specific when setting calorific and activity based goals than a regular slimming club can ever hope to be.
#3: Your calorie goals will be tailored specifically for you, based on your personal Basal Metabolic rate (BMR). You will also be set activity goals, based on your current level of fitness and lifestyle.

When you join Slim 4 Health, you will receive;

A personalised binder, containing your health results, body composition records, calorie and activity goals and your diet and activity diaries.

A pedometer, to measure your daily step count.


A typical, four-weekly, one-hour Slim 4 Health session will comprise of;

A health and body composition check.

An appraisal of the last 4 weeks diet and activity and goal setting for the next 4 weeks.

Any remaining time can be taken as a Personal Training session with me. If you want to, of course.
