Having worked with gym members and private clients for a number of years, I have been quite shocked as to how little many people know about their bodies, about their diet and about which activities are beneficial to them.

As a result, I have put together two courses, with the aim of helping people to understand the principles of health, exercise and nutrition.

The courses are designed for anyone who wishes to improve their knowledge and understanding of diet, physiology and the effect of exercise.

I run the courses in Health Clubs, Gyms, Community Centres and Schools. Anywhere, in fact, where it is possible to make up a class of at least 15 people. Please note that the minimum age for students on this course is 16.

The courses comprise of a session per week for 4 weeks, with each session lasting 2 hours.

The first course; The Principles of Exercise & Nutrition, is a theory based course which is split into four sections; Health & Well-Being, Physiology, Nutrition and Exercise Theory.

The second course; Effective Program Design, is both theory and practical based. Students are required to pair up and perform lifestyle and fitness assessments. They will then design a program for each other based on the results.
